MX League Awards Gala to Celebrate the Season at Tampere Supercross
The Finnish MX League Awards Gala, celebrating the conclusion of the domestic motocross season, will once again be held alongside Tampere Supercross at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
For the eighth consecutive year, Tampere Supercross will bring the Finnish motocross season to a spectacular close with two days of world-class indoor Supercross racing on November 8–9. As in previous years, the event weekend will also host the annual MX League Awards Gala, honouring the standout riders and achievements of the 2019 season.
The awards ceremony is made possible through the support of Suomen Crossitulokset, Finland’s leading motocross results service, and Motokeidas, one of Finland’s premier motorcycle dealerships based in Tampere.
Awards Presentation
The Top 10 riders in the final championship standings of every MX League class will be recognised:
- MX65
- MXC/B
- MXD (Women’s Finnish Cup)
- MX125
- MXB
- MXH
In addition, every MX65 and MXC/B rider attending the gala will receive a special award.
Toward the end of the ceremony, the champions of all six classes will receive their championship trophies. Special awards will also be presented for:
- Rookie of the Year
- Performance of the Year
- Organizer of the Year
The awards include trophies, certificates, and a wide selection of prizes donated by event partners and professional riders.
Event Schedule
The MX League Awards Gala will take place in the Hall of Stars (Tähtien Sali) on the second floor of the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre.

- Welcome speech: 2:00 PM
- Awards ceremony: 2:00–4:00 PM
There is plenty of time to enjoy both events, as Tampere Supercross begins with the opening ceremonies at 5:00 PM, while the evening finals get underway at 8:30 PM.
Admission
Admission to the MX League Awards Gala is free of charge, just like Offroad Expo, which is held alongside Tampere Supercross.
Tickets for Tampere Supercross are sold separately.
Registration
All award recipients must register in advance.
Registration must be completed with Marko Vihriä no later than Friday, November 1.
Only riders who have registered in advance will receive their awards during the ceremony.
When registering, please include:
- Rider’s name
- Competition class
- For riders under 18, the parent or guardian’s name and contact information

Special Ticket Offer
All riders who competed in this year’s MX League, along with their family members and support crews, are eligible for discounted Tampere Supercross admission tickets.
Ticket reservations should be made when registering for the gala. Tickets will be invoiced after the reservation has been confirmed.
The MX League Awards Gala is organized by the Motocross Commission of the Finnish Motorcycling Federation (SML). Event coordinators are Kimmo Elo and Marko Vihriä.
