Registration Now Open for Tampere Supercross – Starting Fees Available for Finnish Riders

Registration is now officially open for the 2019 Tampere Supercross, taking place on Friday and Saturday, November 8–9, at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre.

Once again, the event organizer will provide starting fees for eligible Finnish riders competing in the premier class.

For several years, Tampere Supercross has supported Finland’s top motocross riders by offering starting fees to help reduce the cost of competing in the country’s biggest indoor Supercross event and the traditional finale of the Finnish motocross season.

Supporting Finnish Riders

The goal of the starting fee program is to help domestic riders compete in front of thousands of spectators while giving additional exposure to both the riders and their teams and sponsors.

To qualify automatically, riders must finish the current Finnish Championship season inside the overall Top 10 in either the MX1 or MX2 class.

Riders who do not meet these criteria may also submit an application directly to the event organizer for consideration.

To receive the starting fee, riders must complete their event entry through the Finnish Motorcycling Federation’s (SML) MOTTI competition management system no later than October 15.

The €200 starting fee will be paid to each eligible rider using the same procedures as in previous years, for example through the rider’s coaching or athlete support fund where applicable.
