Tampere Supercross Delivers Another Unforgettable Weekend

The 7th edition of Tampere Supercross once again proved why it has become the traditional finale of Finland’s off-road racing season, bringing together riders, fans, industry partners, and leading brands from across the country.
This year’s event even set a new attendance record, with an outstanding crowd already filling the grandstands on Friday evening.
As the event’s title sponsor, Monster Energy once again made a strong impact at both Tampere Supercross and Offroad Expo. The Monster team was on site with Monster-sponsored riders, the Monster Girls, and, of course, plenty of ice-cold Monster Energy drinks available throughout the weekend.
International Racing at Its Best
The two-day event was held on Friday and Saturday, with the race program running smoothly and without any major delays or interruptions.
A total of 25 riders from seven different countries lined up behind the starting gate to battle for victory and the prize money.
Among them was Portugal’s Hugo Basaúla (#747), who joined the international field aiming to challenge defending champion Harri Kullas. Based on the practice sessions, Kullas had already established himself as the crowd favourite.
Throughout the weekend it became clear who had the pace to beat. Aside from one minor setback—losing Saturday’s Head-to-Head Challenge to Spain’s Joan Cros—Kullas dominated the event, winning both days’ main events to become the undisputed king of Tampere Supercross.

Offroad Expo Kept Fans Entertained All Weekend
Running alongside the racing action, Offroad Expo attracted thousands of visitors to the neighbouring exhibition hall.
Monster Energy’s stand was one of the busiest attractions of the weekend. Visitors could get tattooed by Jessika Elo of Old 7 Tattoo, stop by the Dick Johnson Barbershop, and challenge Monster Girl Vicky to set the fastest lap in the AMA Supercross video game on PlayStation 4.
